Wait, what? This client's room was trying to function as many things: an office, a guest room and a place to store things. What it wasn't doing well was any one of these functionally or aesthetically well. There wasn't enough storage, everything was lined up flat against the walls, there wasn't any visual separation, and there wasn't anything to tie it all together and give it that oomph! And, they wanted to keep as many photos out as possible but have them worked into the design.
By leveraging all the client's existing furniture and adding only a few new elements for storage and functionality and refinishing a few others - we created this fresh new office space that had a punch of color, was inviting to guests who stayed overnight and offered enough storage to hide away all the other 'stuff' in the room that didn't need to be kept out.
