modern artistic bathroom
Custom furniture creates interest in a small room
Challenge: This 1960's condo had an interesting layout, interesting in the not so good sense. The bathroom had a pretty good size, however it was long and narrow and required a corner sink to get around the tub and to the toilet. So out with the old bone-colored tile, and in with a modern artistic creation.
Solution: The inspiration for this bathroom actually came from the shower curtain. the shiney green with accents of blue and cream gave birth to the color scheme. The 'shiney' was interpreted into a stainless steel vessel sink and two matching round mirrors, the green and blue were played up in bold on the custom-built sink pedastal and the cream washed over the walls replacing a 1950's-style rose wallpaper. The bathroom was instantly updated, attractive and artistic.
