Modern Elegance Family Room
Off-kilter squares, can it get any better?
Challenge: The family room lacked personality, depth and any interest whatsoever. White walls, off-white and extremely dirty carpet and a white stucco fireplace with 2x6's used as a mantle - this room was screaming for texture.
Solution: By incorporating bold shapes, lines, colors and textures, this room was almost instantly transformed into elegant modernism. I then offset the bold statements with an Indian Tigerwood floor to echo the sleekness of the situation. Now can you say, 'hot!"? (Note: room not furnished due to sale of unit).
