What kind of shine can you add to your love life?

Challenge: This room was a blank slate. It had a bed pretty much floating in the middle of the room, white walls and a TV precariously balanced on a dresser. It needed some help, some love and some warmth with a bit of spice.

Solution: I decided to work with reflectivity in this room by incorporating several metal elements including the ceiling fan, metal lighting and a metal weave (not the kind for your hair) on the wall to anchor the bed and serve to emphasize the bed’s headboard. Color and motion are brought into the room through the art above the bed as well as the swirl bedding while the silk curtains add a softness and femininity to the space. Finally, since a TV is necessary for these owners, I created a custom shelving unit that was placed on the wall opposite the bed. The result is a modern and sophisticated retreat ready for passion.
